Measuring Venetian Blinds
How do you measure your window for Venetian Blinds?
Some customers are daunted by the prospect of measuring windows for Venetian Blinds, but in truth it’s very simple.
All you need is:
- a good quality steel tape measure, and
- a Pen and paper.
Instructions for measuring will vary slightly depending on whether you are measuring a bay window or standard window, and an inside or outside mount. To make it as easy as possible, we have created detailed PDF guide for each window type.
The PDF guide takes you through each step of measuring. Typically, customers have no problems measuring for blind, but once you have noted down the sizes, we do encourage you to take a break then come back to double check your sizes before placing your order. Where necessary, we also encourage you to upload a clear photo of your window with your order, to help give our team a full understanding of your needs.
